Zatoulaný pes, kresby, fotografie, 1991–1994

Zvířecí podobizny navázaly na rýsované kresby z 80. let. Vnesly do jeho tvorby námět bytosti, v níž se zrcadlí naše představy o svobodě, bezdomoví a neschopnost nahlédnout do mysli někoho jiného. Na výstavě Zatoulaný pes v pražském Rudolfinu byly zvířecí podobizny vystaveny spolu s jejich fotografickými zvětšeninami. Autoportréty na Zatoulaném psovi naznačovaly možnost metaforické identifikace autora s vlastnostmi zvířete.

Stray Dog, drawings, photographs, 1991–1994

It was animal portraits which followed the traced drawings of the 80s. It was them which introduced the motif of a being that mirrors our ideas of freedom, homelessness and impossibility to see into the mind of another person. The exhibition Stray Dog in Rudolfinum, Prague, consisted of the animal portraits shown together with their photographic blow-ups. The self-portraits in the exhibition marked the possibility of metaphorical identification of the author with animal qualities.
