“SALUTE” by Martin Cáb

This is grave of my great-uncle Václav, who emigrated from Czechoslovakia in 1939 to join
the Royal Air Force. He died on 13th October 1942 when a Wellington bomber of 27 OTU RAF
took-off from the military airfield of Church Broughton for a night orientation flight.
I visited his grave on 13th October 2013 in Scropton (Derbyshire), 71 years after his death.
Just salute!
