Authorial Albums

(1993-1997)

The 90s connection of photographs, prints, paintings and self-adhesive tape compositions led to creation of authorial books - albums. The references to time-lapse, memorial nature of home albums (Stratil produced his "own artistic" as well as "family" photo albums and exhibited also a sample from the albums neatly managed by his father) meet with intensified accent on their aesthetic aspect. These albums become "obsession anthologies" as well as artistic realizations portfolios.
